History

On April 7, 2014, the National Pan-Hellenic Council-Houston (NPHCH) President, Erica Evans (Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.) sent a letter to the Black Greek-lettered Fraternities and Sororities asking each chapter selected from a lottery system to appoint a representative to serve on the 501c3 Board of Directors.  Selected representatives were asked to be members in good standing of their respective chapters and to have previous foundation experience.  The Foundation was established to serve as the fundraising arm of the  National PanHellenic Council-Houston to award scholarships to both high school and undergraduate college students and to fund community programs.

A meeting was held on October 13, 2014, at Trinity United Methodist Church on Holman Street with the appointed chapter representatives from all of the Black Greek-lettered Fraternities and Sororities. This meeting was chaired by Wilford Scott (Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.), chairman of the 501c3 Committee of the National Pan-Hellenic Council-Houston. The following representatives were elected as the first executive committee for the 2015-2016 year:
